On-Site Training in Madeira: A Journey of Growth, Learning, and New Horizons
From April 7 to April 13, 2024, a unique training program titled “Developing Learning Skills” took place on the sunny island of Madeira. This program was specifically designed for women aged 40+ and marked a significant milestone for both the participants and our organization, highlighting the power of non-formal education and its deep impact on personal and professional development.
A Program with Purpose
The core aim of the training was to enhance learning abilities, recognize personal strengths, and set clear directions for further growth. Participants worked on strengthening emotional well-being, explored art therapy methods, practiced self-reflection, and engaged in outdoor activities that brought learning into harmony with nature.
Working in natural settings provided participants with a deeper understanding of themselves, the healing power of nature, and its connection to mental and emotional health. This experience offered a unique space for recovery, self-renewal, and fresh inspiration.
Key Outcomes of the Training
The training produced remarkable and tangible results:
Participants began studying for new professions
Completed advanced professional development courses
Started actively applying new knowledge in everyday life
Recovered emotionally after major life challenges
Discovered hidden inner resources and talents to use professionally
Progressed to new levels of education or started learning foreign languages
These achievements confirm that the training’s main objectives were fully met. The program provided not only knowledge but also confidence, inspiration, and a renewed desire for lifelong learning.
Gratitude and Partnerships
We sincerely thank each participant for their courage, engagement, and commitment to personal change.
Special thanks to our partners in Madeira — ARTE.M – Associação Artística — whose contribution allowed participants to experience the transformative power of art therapy for personal growth and emotional well-being.
A Memorable Example of Learning for Life
The Madeira training stands as an unforgettable example of how learning can truly change lives, restore self-belief, and open up new horizons. We are confident that this is just the beginning of meaningful transformation — both for the participants and for our organization.
Stay tuned for future updates and join our upcoming projects — together, we can create a world of opportunities and growth!
